Scope of Role:

Manages IT services and Technology for EMEA and Group divisions, leading a team of 34, including 7 senior managers. 

Functional Oversight: 

• Leads service management, end-user computing, operations, technology procurement, and HRIS for a global multi-channel PLC with 200 stores, 30 offices and 9 global manufacturing and distribution centres. 
• Supports 4,200+ internal customers across multiple regions, handling ~25,000 annual incidents and requests. 
• Oversees a £10M+ budget and chairs C-Suite level technology committees. 

Key Achievements: 

• Improved service uptime to 98% through enhanced incident management. 
• Achieved £1.9M in savings via an optimised IT structure and contract negotiations. 
• Enabled hybrid working with an £8M workplace modernisation project. 
• Increased CSAT scores by over 50% with AI-driven self-healing technology. 
• Streamlined Service Desk operations, saving £0.5M annually and increasing technical coverage. 
• Transitioned the business from ServiceNow platform to Jira.
• Successfully expanded technology capabilities in five EMEA markets, adhering to local regulations. 
• Spearheaded market expansion in EMEA, meeting budget and timeline targets. 
• Contributed to the organisation’s IPO preparation and launch. 
• Implemented a WMS system to improve customer experience and opened new European offices. 

Education & Certifications: 

PRINCE2, ITIL Foundation & Intermediate. 

Skills: 

Strong background in ITIL, ITSM, automation, service desk management, vendor negotiations, and team leadership. ServiceNow and Jira.
