Macildowie Connect Charter Of Engagement
Purpose
The primary objective of this professional networking group is to provide a virtual space where members can share knowledge, discuss industry trends, and explore business opportunities. We aim to foster a collaborative environment where professionals can support one another in tackling challenges and pursuing growth.
Membership
Membership in this group is open to professionals across industries, with a focus on shared learning and collaboration.
By joining, members agree to participate in good faith, maintaining a respectful and inclusive atmosphere at all times.
Meeting Structure
Meetings and Events will be held online at regular intervals, to be determined by the group.
The agenda for each meeting will include a mix of group discussion, individual presentations, and opportunities for one-on-one networking.
Introductions and Referrals
Our professional groups aim to enhance members networks and deliver meaningful insight and opportunities to develop their skillset and careers. We realise that our members time and proprietary skills and valuable and on occasion, members may want to contact one another to discuss key topics or commercial proposals. In order to manage this for all members, all professional introductions or referrals to contacts that arise from group discussions must be facilitated by and managed through Macildowie.
Confidentiality
Any information shared during meetings or via the group’s communication channels is to be treated as confidential. Members agree not to disclose sensitive or proprietary information outside of the group without explicit permission from the parties involved.
Code of Conduct
All members are expected to engage professionally and courteously. Any behaviour deemed inappropriate, disruptive, or in violation of these terms may result in removal from the group at the discretion of the organisers.
Referral Fees
Our networks are run as a free offering, aiming to add as much value to members as possible, with a view that all parties benefit from the commercial and personal relationships generated. Where appropriate, Macildowie also offer professional introducers in their networks, a 10% referral fee on revenue generated from introductions made to recruit for their wider network.
If you would prefer, we can donate any referral fees to a charity of your choice.
Payment terms and timelines will be agreed upon in writing prior to the conclusion of any business transaction.
Endorsements and Promotions
These groups primarily serve as platforms for learning, development and professional networking. Members are asked not to promote products, services or direct job adverts to members on any of the communication platforms without prior consent from Macildowie.
Photography, Online, Video & Media Consent
Our events are often recorded, transcribed or photographed for promotional material. Connect Members acknowledge and agree that photography, video, and audio recordings may take place. These materials may be used by Macildowie and Signet for promotional purposes, including but not limited to social media, websites, marketing materials, and future event promotions.
If you do not wish to be photographed or recorded, please inform a member of the event team upon arrival at any in person event. While we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate requests, we cannot guarantee exclusion from all event photography.
Disclaimer
Macildowie Recruitment and Retention assumes no responsibility for the outcomes of business discussions between members, outside of those engagements managed through the firm. All parties are expected to conduct their own due diligence when entering into any agreements.
Amendments
These terms of engagement may be updated or amended as needed. Any changes will be communicated to members in advance.
This Charter of Engagement seeks to set clear expectations for all members to ensure ever member has a positive and meaningful experience. Members who do not adhere to the charter or act in a spirit outside of that of the groups they are part of, may be removed from the group.
